This all-steel radial ply tire of 8.25r20 is commonest urban bus tire, which having a tread pattern of four main straight grooves with zigzag-shaped sipes design, it is being recommended for all axles of the buses and medium duty trucks running on the good road conditions such as highway and urban roads. There are being available in 16 sizes which including tube type products of 8.25R15LT, 7.50R16LT, 8.25R16LT, 7.50R20 and 8.25R20, and tubeless products for 17.5-inch and 19.5-inch diameter rims: 8.5R1.7, 9.5R17.5 and 8R19.5.
The optimized geometric distribution of zigzag-shaped sipes design, with increasing grip performance on the fry and wet roads, and improves resisting ability against to irregular wear of this travel coach tire of 8.25R20.
The application of cooler running tread compound can effective restrain heat built-up, and combined with 5 straight tread with providing lower rolling resistance, and help vehicle fleets to save the fuel expenditure.
And the design for stone rejected under the bottom of grooves provides excellent self-cleaning ability, and reduces the possibility that the crown being out groove cracking due to stone retention in the grooves.
